In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful lawns, gardens, and hardscape features, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and aesthetics. Duties Mow lawns using push mowers, riding mowers, or other power tools to achieve a clean, even cut. Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, trimming, pruning trees and shrubs, and planting new greenery. Operate hand tools and power tools including trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, and excavators to shape landscapes effectively. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules. Assist with hardscape projects like installing pathways, retaining walls, or patios to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Conduct seasonal snow plowing to keep walkways and driveways safe during winter months. Support tree care activities such as trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth and safety. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining lawn care equipment and power tools safely. Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening with an eye for detail. Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design techniques. Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely in various outdoor tasks. Familiarity with excavators and other construction machinery is a plus for larger landscaping projects. Understanding of irrigation systems installation and repair processes. Experience with snow plowing operations during winter seasons. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in all weather conditions. Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients as needed.
