Caregiver-Midnights Royal Oak House Assisted Living - 1.7 Royal Oak, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $15 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Paid training Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Paid orientation Paid sick time Qualifications Employee relationship building Driver's License CNA Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Provides compassionate overnight care and supervision to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the shift. Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility support. Responds promptly to call lights, resident requests, and emergency situations in a professional and caring manner. Observes, records, and reports changes in residents' physical, mental, or emotional conditions to the appropriate supervisor. Obtains and documents resident vital signs, weights, and other health-related information as directed. Assists with medication reminders and supports medication administration processes in accordance with community policies and state regulations, when applicable. Maintains accurate and timely documentation of resident care, services provided, and observations made during the shift. Performs routine safety checks and monitors residents to help prevent falls, injuries, or other incidents. Assists with housekeeping tasks related to resident care, including changing linens, maintaining clean resident areas, and ensuring a safe environment. Provides companionship and emotional support while promoting residents' dignity, independence, and quality of life. Participates in training programs, staff meetings, and continuing education opportunities to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge. Maintains compliance with all community policies, HIPAA privacy standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Develops and maintains positive, professional relationships with residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members.
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
