University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide exceptional support and assistance to clients in South Lyon, MI. This role involves helping individuals with daily living activities to enhance their quality of life in a respectful and caring manner. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene. Support clients with mobility and transferring safely. Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to supervisory staff. Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided. Requirements Previous experience in personal care or a related field is an asset but not necessary. Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families. Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain client confidentiality. Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform care tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a plus.
