This role is perfect for dedicated professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents. As a Caregiver, you will deliver attentive, respectful care while ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for each individual. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help create a warm, welcoming environment that promotes independence and well-being. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs and overall condition, reporting any changes promptly Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, assisting with meal planning and cooking as required Maintain cleanliness of resident spaces through regular cleaning duties to promote a safe and hygienic environment Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards, including patient observations and progress notes Engage in meaningful social interactions to foster emotional well-being, especially for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and emergency procedures to ensure resident safety at all times Collaborate with team members to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet each resident's unique needs Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care, memory care, Alzheimer's care, and hospice support techniques Hands-on experience with patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital sign measurement Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of patient information Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility support Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to caregiving Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as Home & Community Care or Nursing Assistant are a plus Join us in making a meaningful difference every day!
