This flexible role offers you the opportunity to work in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, and home care environments. As a caregiver, you will provide compassionate assistance with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the safety and well-being of those you serve. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help create a warm, respectful environment where clients can thrive. Duties Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to ensure health stability Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding as needed Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and ensuring infection control standards are met Document care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies and communicate effectively with team members about resident status or changes Qualifications Prior experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care is highly preferred Knowledge of caregiving skills including assisting with ADLs, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care Certification in First Aid is advantageous; CPR certification is a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring personal support is desirable Ability to operate EMR systems for documentation purposes accurately Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for driving between care locations are preferred for home & community-based roles Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate attitude to support residents' physical and emotional needs Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to enriching lives through dedicated caregiving.
