Caregiver

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and energetic caregivers for 2nd and 3rd shift. We are a 20 bed licensed adult foster care home for the elderly. Our residents range in age from 70-105 and are non combative. 2nd shift hours 2p-10p. 3rd shift hours 6p-6a or 10p-6a. Set rotating schedule. Every other weekend required. Duties Assist residents with ADL's including - Dressing, Bathing, Personal Hygiene, Mobility, Meals, etc. Administer medication after on site training is complete. Laundry and Light housekeeping Meal prep and service Companionship and emotional support Anything else the resident may require. Qualifications Ideal applicants should have experience with resident care. Adult foster care experience is appreciated but not required All applicants must be able to pass a state and federal background check All applicants must have reliable transportation All applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and be able to lift 50 pounds Training Medication administration and documentation done on site First Aid and CPR done on site Dementia training done on site Proper body mechanics and handling of elderly residents done on site Proper meal preparation and service done on site Benefits Paid sick time after 90 days Paid vacation after 1 year Set rotating schedule

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
