Care Professional Job DescriptionTustin HousePosition Summary Tustin House is a dementia-focused assisted living home dedicated to providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a safe and family-like environment. Care Professionals assist residents with daily care needs while promoting dignity, comfort, safety, and independence. This position is designed to support all shifts, including days, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Please message us to inquire about what shifts we are currently hiring for. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, feeding, transfers, and brief changes. Provide compassionate dementia-focused care using patience, redirection, and positive communication techniques. Complete resident checks, repositioning, bed changes, housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation. Observe and report changes in resident condition, behaviors, or concerns. Accurately complete documentation and follow all facility policies and state guidelines. Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and coworkers. Work as part of a team to ensure quality care on all shifts. Qualifications Experience in caregiving or dementia care required. Must be dependable, compassionate, patient, and able to work well with others. Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and daily care tasks.
