I'M LOOKING FOR AN LIVE-IN CAREGIVER
Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and dignity Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions and maintain detailed medication records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Support residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory impairments through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies Provide transportation for appointments or community outings by driving safely and responsibly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas Use appropriate equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe transfers and assist with mobility needs Experience Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or personal care homes is highly valued Familiarity with long-term care environments and home & community care settings enhances your ability to meet diverse resident needs Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and behavior management techniques is preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is advantageous Certification in first aid and CPR is beneficial for ensuring safety during emergencies Comfortable using EMR systems for documentation and resident tracking Valid driver's license for transportation duties; experience with driving residents preferred Join us to make a positive impact through compassionate caregiving!
