As a Direct Care Worker (DCW), you will play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their housing, develop life skills, and improve their overall quality of life. Positions Availability Two Part-Time positions available (Thursday-Saturday 8am to 4pm or Sunday -Tuesday 8am to 4pm) Must be available to work weekdays and weekends Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the direct care, behavioral health, mental health, developmental disabilities, supportive housing, or human services field. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Medication administration experience or certification preferred ( Must be a Medication Passer ). Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to treating all individuals with dignity, respect, and compassion. Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and other barriers to independent living within our supportive housing programs. Assist residents in securing, maintaining, and successfully living in stable housing environments. Support residents with daily living skills that promote housing stability and long-term independence. Assist with meal planning, meal preparation, and grocery shopping. Assist with household organization and deep cleaning to help maintain safe and healthy living spaces. Administer medications as prescribed ( Must be a Medication Passer ). Transport residents to appointments, community resources, and other essential activities ( Valid driver's license required ). Connect residents with community resources and supportive services that enhance their well-being and self-sufficiency. Encourage participation in recreational and social activities that promote engagement, confidence, and overall wellness. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members to ensure quality care and support.
