Full Job Description Position Overview:

Position Overview Americare Twin Cities North is seeking a compassionate caregiver to make a meaningful difference in our clients' lives. In this role, you'll provide personal care, companionship, and support — ensuring every individual feels respected and dignified. Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises as needed. Prepare meals and assist clients with feeding. Administer medication according to healthcare professionals' instructions. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing. Maintain accurate records of care provided. Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or emotional health to family members or healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in caregiving or related fields, such as home/community care or assisted living, is preferred. Familiarity with memory care techniques is a plus. Ability to safely lift clients and assist with mobility challenges. Knowledge of care plans and their implementation is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy when interacting with clients. Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
