Job Description

TriSource is in need of a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for group homes in Duluth, MN! As a DSP, you play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs. This position involves assisting clients in their daily activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. The DSP will work closely with clients to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met in a safe and supportive environment. •Must be comfortable with male clients.
Schedule:
1st shift: 6am-2pm 2nd shift: 2pm-10pm •Must be available to work every other weekend. Duties Provide personal care assistance. Support clients with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals. Assist with medication management and monitor vital signs as needed. Engage clients in social activities to promote interaction and community involvement. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Document daily activities and progress notes accurately. Qualifications Experience with adult individuals with IDD/DD preferred High School Diploma or GED Negative TB/PPD within 6 months ago CPR/First Aid Certification preferred Clean background Valid drivers license
Pay Rate:
Starting at $18/HR
