Position Overview:

We are seeking LEAD Direct Support to join our team of professionals. In this role, you will provide supervision and guidance for employees and clients during all activities- developing rapport and cultivating safe and supportive relationships. You will work closely with clients, to the highest degree of confidentiality, providing the care necessary for them to overcome challenges and move forward in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Must fill in when a tech calls in and can't work their shift. Must train the Direct Support Staff on how to do their job duties. Document, in writing/verbal/computer, any medical/behavioral problems observed. Assist the clinical team and nursing staff in supporting client care. Must train techs with learning how to crisis manage when clients have a crisis. Will work on staff schedule with the Program Assistant. Attend all staff meetings and trainings. Maintain confidential and accurate client records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Must have good boundaries with employees and clients. Must have a valid Driver License. Must have good communicate skills to work with employees and clients who are struggling with substance use disorders. Must be 18 and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Have some knowledge of the 12 step principles. Have good oral and written skills and basic computer knowledge. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Must be free from problematic substance use for at least 1 year. Must be able to give medication to clients. Must be able to conduct urinalysis "UA" on clients. Must know how to use NARCAN. Must be able to do First Aid/CPR, if not certified will be trained soon after employment begins. Why Join Us?
