We patiently care for the loved ones entrusted in our care. Patience In Home Care provides home care nursing services for people with complex medical needs in the North Twin Cities Metro (Anoka County and surrounding areas). Description 1:1 Personal Care Assistant / PCA (several locations, various cares and hours) Job type 30-35 Hours per week in East Bethel, MN Overview Providing 1:1 care in a loving home. Description We are looking for a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patient's home that has Dementia/Parkinson's in accordance with an established care plan. Responsibilities Provide health care services in patient's residence (including sponge bathing, dressing, toileting assistance and mobility). Client needs assistance with eating/feeding. Client needs assistance with changing briefs. Softly massage hands, wrists and arms for circulation and arthritis. Applying lotion to skin. Transferring assistance. Perform domestic and household tasks (cleaning kitchen, bathroom, floors and laundry). Assist with client's personal care activities. Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support. Skills and Requirements Caring and compassionate personality Must be able to lift patient (using safety belt), turn, position, and transfer up to 50lbs. Helpful Skills Proven working experience as Personal Care Assistant Health care administration skills
