Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs, patient observations, and overall health status regularly to ensure safety and well-being Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans under supervision Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal service Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and infection control practices Utilize specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Provide compassionate support during activities like Alzheimer's or dementia care, ensuring residents feel secure and respected Document all care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies Collaborate with nursing staff, social workers, and other team members to develop and implement personalized care plans Skills Proven experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care environments, especially with seniors or individuals with developmental disabilities Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and basic nursing skills including CPR and first aid certification Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or manual techniques when necessary Strong communication skills for working effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Experience working with people with autism or memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia Capable of multitasking in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail and compassion Basic cooking skills for meal preparation that meets dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines Join us in delivering exceptional care that enhances the quality of life for our residents!
