Job Description
Flourish Senior Living is a beautiful community located in the heart of Golden Valley. Providing both Independent and Assisted Living options, we are looking to add compassionate caregivers to our team. Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Caregivers to provide high-quality care to our residents in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, particularly in long-term care settings. As an Assisted Living Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by assisting them with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any changes in health or behavior. Support residents with daily living activities such as meal preparation, dressing, and housekeeping tasks. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the supervising staff. Requirements Previous experience in senior care preferred. Knowledge of medication administration systems and procedures is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds safely and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties.
