Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in the facility. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and adherence to health and safety regulations. Responsibilities Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals. Observe and report changes in the patient's condition or behavior to the supervising nurse or physician. Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring as necessary. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to HIPAA regulations at all times. Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life. Document care provided and maintain accurate records of services rendered. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or home health care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with senior care practices and home community care is an advantage. Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize changes in patients' conditions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and healthcare professionals.
