Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Female Caregiver (PCA/CFSS/IHS), where high hours and flexible scheduling open the door to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, personalized care to support independence, promote well-being, and enhance quality of life. Whether assisting with daily activities or offering emotional support, your efforts will empower those you serve to thrive in their home and community environments. This position offers abundant hours for motivated caregivers eager to grow their skills and experience in a rewarding setting. Duties Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support behavioral health needs through positive behavior management techniques and behavioral interventions Facilitate communication using skills such as American Sign Language or other communication methods tailored to each individual Administer medications following prescribed schedules and document medication administration accurately Collect and record data related to client progress, behaviors, and service delivery for ongoing care planning Provide transportation and driving support to appointments, community outings, or activities as needed Support children and adults with disabilities in educational or social settings, including childcare when appropriate Collaborate with families, social workers, and other professionals to develop personalized care plans that meet individual needs Qualifications Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or behavioral health challenges is highly preferred Knowledge of special education principles and behavior management strategies is advantageous Strong communication skills, including proficiency in American Sign Language or alternative communication methods Experience in home and community care settings demonstrating caregiving expertise Ability to assist with ADLs safely and effectively while maintaining dignity and respect for clients Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for transportation responsibilities Familiarity with data collection, medication administration, and documentation procedures Compassionate attitude combined with patience, flexibility, and excellent interpersonal skills This role is perfect for motivated caregivers passionate about making a positive impact.
