Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as an Elderly Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will provide personalized care, support daily activities, and promote independence while ensuring safety and comfort. Your dedication will help create a warm, respectful environment where clients feel valued and cared for. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop rewarding relationships and contribute positively to the well-being of those in need. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs, observing changes, and reporting concerns promptly Administer medications safely following care plans and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Support residents during outings or community activities to foster social engagement and independence Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's personal assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health care preferred; experience with group homes or hospice care is a plus Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for resident transfers and mobility assistance Strong communication skills for effective patient monitoring, care planning, and collaboration with healthcare teams Demonstrated compassion, patience, and dedication to providing high-quality senior or long-term care Willingness to work flexible hours in a dynamic environment that values safety and personalized support
Pay:
$19.00 per hour
