Job Description

Activity Aide - Adult Day Services Bethesda Make a Difference Every Day Join a meaningful, hands-on role where care and connection come together. As a Activity Aide, you'll support individuals in an adult day program by providing personal care and helping lead engaging daily activities that promote dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Position Summary:
Provides personal care and assists with daily activity programming in a supportive adult day setting. Observes and reports changes in client condition, supports meals and hygiene needs, and helps create a safe, engaging, and respectful environment for all clients.
Schedule:
Full-time or part-time positions available Scheduled daytime hours
Key Responsibilities:
Provide respectful personal care (hygiene, toileting, transfers, mobility support) Observe and report changes in client condition or behavior Assist with meals, snacks, and light cleanup Support and help lead daily activities and engagement programs Take vital signs and weights as assigned Make reminder calls and help coordinate daily attendance Assist with documentation and communication to care team Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred NA certification not required (training provided) CPR and First Aid required or willingness to obtain Experience with older adults or individuals with disabilities preferred Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Strong communication and observational skills Spanish speaking not required, but encouraged

Physical Requirements:

Pay:
$15.76 - $17.75 per hour
