Personal Care Aide

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and report any concerns promptly Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties and proper infection control practices Observe and document residents' conditions, behaviors, and progress to inform care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare teams Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's lifts to assist with mobility and prevent injury during transfers Qualifications Previous experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification or training in CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance, and dementia or Alzheimer's care is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for caregiving duties Strong communication skills with a compassionate attitude toward working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or other special needs Experience working with residents' care plans and assisting with complex needs such as hospice or memory care is a plus Flexibility to work various shifts in home health or long-term care environments Join us as a Personal Care Aide to provide heartfelt support that empowers individuals to live comfortably and confidently. $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
