Day Staff

Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Day Staff to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient monitoring and home health, with a focus on long-term care. This role is essential in ensuring the well-being of our residents through attentive support and care. Responsibilities Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff. Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring that each resident's needs are met. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents during transfers. Maintain cleanliness and organization in living areas to promote a healthy environment. Collaborate with social work staff to address the social and emotional needs of residents. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in senior care. Experience Previous experience in patient monitoring or home health is preferred. Familiarity with long-term care settings such as nursing homes is a plus. Certification in CPR is highly desirable. Experience in developing or implementing care plans is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential. A background in social work or related fields can enhance your candidacy for this position. Compensation:

$15.00-$16.00 per hour, plus tips. Total earnings may increase based on tip volume and performance.
