Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Facility / Resident Caregivers to provide essential support to residents in a facility setting. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals requiring assistance with daily activities, health support, and emotional well-being. The position focuses on as-needed coverage , ensuring residents remain safe, comfortable, and supported. Candidates with experience in assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, hospital settings, or post-acute care are highly valued. Experience or training in dementia or Alzheimer's care is strongly preferred. This role is ideal for caregivers who are dependable, attentive, and comfortable working flexible hours while maintaining resident-centered care and safety. Duties Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Provide medication reminders and monitor resident condition as directed by healthcare professionals. Support nutritional needs by assisting with meals and feeding when necessary. Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized resident environment. Provide companionship to promote emotional well-being and reduce feelings of isolation. Provide appropriate support and redirection for residents living with dementia. Monitor residents during assigned shifts and respond to needs promptly. Communicate effectively with supervisors, healthcare providers, and family members regarding resident needs and changes in condition. Follow individualized care plans carefully, adapting to evolving resident needs. Document care activities accurately and report any concerns or changes promptly. Qualifications Prior experience as a facility caregiver, resident assistant, or home caregiver is preferred. Experience in assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, hospital medicine, or post-acute care enhances suitability for this role. Dementia care experience or formal training is strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient approach to caregiving. Ability to work independently within a structured facility environment while maintaining professionalism. Certification or training in caregiving, CNA, CPR, or related health fields is a plus. Ability to pass background checks and meet any required health screenings. Availability to work weekend shifts and on an as-needed basis. Pay:
