Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring proper infection control practices Follow detailed care plans developed by healthcare providers to deliver consistent, high-quality support Engage in ongoing training related to hospice care, autism support, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities Experience Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home settings, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient care procedures including medication administration and vital signs monitoring Hands-on experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs such as autism or developmental disabilities Familiarity with caregiving for seniors or residents requiring memory care or dementia support Experience using mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts is advantageous Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting clients with mobility challenges Proven ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining compassion and professionalism Join us in providing exceptional home-based care that empowers individuals to live comfortably and confidently.
