Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Personal Assistant Caregiver to join our team. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care and support to individuals with diverse needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes or concerns Provide medication administration and ensure adherence to care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Operate mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts and assist with heavy lifting tasks safely Maintain detailed documentation of patient care, observations, and progress reports Support clients with cognitive impairments such as dementia or Alzheimer's through memory care techniques and engagement activities Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs, and medication administration Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia is highly valued Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Familiarity with group home settings, hospice care, or long-term care environments is advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and working with mobility aids safely Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams
Pay:
