Personal Care Aide

Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation of resident rooms and common areas Observe and document patient conditions, behaviors, and changes to inform care plans and communicate with healthcare teams Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's for safe transfers and mobility assistance Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and hospice or dementia-specific care practices Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home care or group home environments Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, memory care, dementia care, autism support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Strong ability to observe patient conditions carefully and report accurately Familiarity with medication administration procedures and care plan adherence Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and family members Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy Experience with vital signs monitoring, patient monitoring techniques, and basic nursing skills Compassionate attitude combined with energetic motivation to provide high-quality personal care Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication helps improve lives every day. Pay:

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour
