We are looking for an experienced, part-time to start, caregiver that is willing to grow with us in KC and the surrounding areas! Are you comfortable, and able, to grow with the company? In other words, can you start with very few hours and build a schedule over time? Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in assisting individuals with daily living activities. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, ensuring their safety and comfort while promoting independence. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client progress and needs. Skills First aid and CPR certification is preferred. Experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes is highly valued. Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health or behavior. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility challenges. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality. Familiarity with home health care practices and hospice care principles is beneficial. Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and maintaining hygiene standards in the home environment. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. Compassionate approach towards senior care and working with individuals with disabilities.
