Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver/Personal Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will deliver personalized care and support to clients, helping them maintain their daily routines and independence while ensuring their safety and well-being. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs, observing symptoms, and reporting changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, or other assistive devices safely and effectively Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and organization of the client's living space Support clients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, utilizing patience and specialized techniques Requirements Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are required; additional training in hospice or dementia care is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or other special needs is advantageous Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards Join us to provide compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
