The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Caregiving experience preferred, but not required. We provide training. Hours Either Friday or Saturday evening required, not both. Possible extra hours during weekdays. Responsibilities The caregiver's main responsibility will be supervision and companionship for a child with autism. Occasionally driving the child to activities like parks or stores. Mileage will be reimbursed when driving client. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients fostering a positive environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization in living spaces to ensure a safe environment. Engage client in socialization to promote mental stimulation and well-being. Prepare a simple snack or meal. Medication reminders. Requirements Must be patient and kind with children. Reliable transportation with proof of insurance. Strong communication skills. Caring and dedicated to helping people. Background check required.
