Job Description

UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSP's ( Direct Care Professional) for the following Shift. UCP Heartland offers a positive, team driven, work environment at $20.00/Hour
CURRENT AVAILABLE SCHEDULE
OVERLAND Sunday 3PM-10PM Tuesday 2PM
  • 10 PM Thursday 3PM
  • 10:00 PM Friday 3PM
  • 11PM 30 Hours Weekly (HB/F)
THIS IS A SET SCHEDULE
As a DSP (Direct Care Provider) you will perform the following responsibilities: Provide physical assistance with daily tasks, assist with personal hygiene and facilitate fun activities.
  • -ADL's, Lift and Transfer (including ceiling lifts, repositioning in wheelchair, etc)
  • -Shift documentation using Set-Works
  • -General Housekeeping
  • -Follow medical orders and administer medications. Most importantly, provide choices to the clients for their daily activities to provide entertainment and community outings.

MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or its equivalent (GED). Valid Drivers license Clean Driving Record and successfully completes and maintains assigned drivers training
A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEKEND SHIFT PER WEEKEND
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision. Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all Agency clients and personnel.
