Job Description
Job Summary We are looking For a Direct Care Staff to join our team and care for individuals with developmental disabilities and medical needs in a home setting. Shifts are 7p-7a, Thursday. Friday & Saturday Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients for changes in condition, behavior, or safety concerns Administer medications and document medication administration accurately following HIPAA guidelines Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with care plans Operate patient lifts such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers to ensure safety during mobility tasks Maintain a clean and safe environment through light cleaning and sanitation practices Document patient observations, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations Respond promptly to emergencies using CPR or first aid skills when necessary Skills CPR and first aid certification required and additional certifications such as medication administration. Training provided Compassionate demeanor with patience for working with vulnerable populations including seniors and individuals with complex health needs Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
