Infant/Toddler Caregiver — Role Overview An Infant/Toddler Caregiver plays a vital role in supporting children during their earliest stages of development. This position focuses on creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where infants and toddlers can grow physically, emotionally, and cognitively. Caregivers not only provide daily care but also plan and deliver early learning experiences, helping children reach developmental milestones through structured and play-based teaching. Key Responsibilities Provide attentive, responsive care ensuring children's safety, comfort, and well-being Develop lesson plans and teach age-appropriate activities that support developmental milestones (motor skills, language, social-emotional growth) Create and implement structured learning experiences through play, exploration, and guided instruction Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment Monitor children's health and safety by following hygiene practices and basic first aid procedures Communicate regularly with parents about progress, milestones, and concerns Support children with special needs using individualized care plans Manage daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap time, and transitions Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Strong knowledge of early childhood development (infants & toddlers) Experience in childcare (daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting) Ability to plan lessons and teach in an engaging, age-appropriate way Strong classroom and behavior management skills CPR and First Aid certification Familiarity with special education and inclusive practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic attitude

Pay:

$8.00 - $9.00 per hour
