Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Attendant, where your dedication and caring nature will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. In this vital role, you will provide in-home personalized support to promote independence, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a warm, supportive environment for those in your care. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in patient care while making a positive impact on the community. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, noting any changes or concerns to ensure timely intervention Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with care plans and dietary restrictions Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols Document care activities accurately while respecting patient privacy and complying with HIPAA regulations Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities Experience Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, or hospice care is highly valued Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs is preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs is advantageous Familiarity with care plans and HIPAA compliance is beneficial Previous roles involving caregiving for seniors or individuals with disabilities demonstrate your commitment to compassionate care Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in Alzheimer's or dementia care is a plus
Pay:
$11.00 - $13.00 per hour
