Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients in need of assistance
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication and assist with medication reminders
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up living spaces
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for those positions that require driving
- Ability to perform heavy lifting or physical tasks as required (e.g., transferring clients)
- Knowledge of hospice care or assisted living is a plus
