Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant Supervisor to provide essential care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in memory care, behavior management, and direct support, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. The ideal candidate will be able to report to the office to maintain paperwork and keep is direct contact with the main branch located in Meridian, MS. Duties
  • Manage at least 20 caregivers
  • Make weekly calls to clients
  • Make 2 visits a month to clients
AS NEEDED
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
  • Implement behavior management techniques when necessary
  • Support residents with dementia care needs
  • Prepare meals according to dietary requirements
  • Ensure resident rights are respected at all times
  • Collaborate with social work professionals to enhance resident care Requirements
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience in health care field
  • CPR certified
  • PCA/CNA certified
  • TB Skin Test
  • Federal Background Check
  • Previous experience in assisted living or home care settings preferred
  • Knowledge of memory care practices and dementia-specific care techniques
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and their families
