This role offers flexible daytime and evening shifts with competitive hourly pay and weekly compensation. As a vital part of the home healthcare community, you will deliver high-quality support that enhances the well-being and independence of those you serve. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in clients' lives while enjoying a rewarding work environment. Responsibilities Provide attentive patient observation to monitor health status and respond promptly to changes. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, and other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques. Perform vital signs assessments such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature checks. Assist with catheter care, hospice support, end-of-life care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks like laundry and meal preparation. Employ proper lifting techniques, including the use of Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids, ensuring safety for both caregiver and client. Skills At least 6 years proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home healthcare environments. Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize subtle health changes. Knowledge of medical procedures such as medication administration, vital signs measurement, catheter care, and CPR/First Aid certification. Experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring memory or dementia care. Excellent caregiving skills combined with compassionate communication and patience. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting clients with mobility challenges safely.
