About Pristine Home Care Inc. Pristine Home Care Inc. is a NCDHHS-licensed non-medical home care agency serving clients and families across Mecklenburg, Gaston, Iredell, Cabarrus, and Lincoln Counties. We are committed to delivering compassionate, consistent care that helps our clients remain safely and comfortably at home. We are building a dependable bench of PRN caregivers who are ready to step in and deliver that same quality of care when our clients need it most. Position summary We are looking for reliable, caring PRN (as-needed) caregivers to fill open and backfill shifts across our service area. As a PRN caregiver with Pristine, you will serve a variety of clients and shift types, including days, evenings, and weekends. This role is ideal for caregivers who want flexible scheduling while staying active in the field. What you will do
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
  • Provide mobility support and safe transfer assistance
  • Prepare meals and assist with medication reminders (no administration)
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Perform light housekeeping and home safety monitoring
  • Complete accurate EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) clock-in and clock-out for every visit
  • Document and communicate shift observations to the care coordinator On-call availability expectations
  • Reachable and able to confirm shift acceptance within 30 minutes of contact
  • Available to report to a client within 2 hours of dispatch when possible
  • Complete orientation and competency evaluation before first deployment Requirements
  • 18 years of age or older with a valid government-issued ID
  • Ability to pass NC DHHS criminal background check and Healthcare Personnel Registry (HPR) screening
  • TB test clearance
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain before first shift
  • Reliable transportation to clients throughout the service area
  • Smartphone capable of running EVV mobile app Preferred qualifications
  • CNA, HHA, or PCA credential
  • 1 or more years of home care or caregiving experience
  • Experience supporting clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or mobility challenges What we offer
