Overview On site Caregiver - Daily Morning Care (Part-Time)

Hours:

8:30 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday (weekend availability a plus) About the Position We are seeking a warm, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide daily morning care for an elderly woman with early-stage dementia. She is cooperative, pleasant, and easy to work with — this is a genuinely enjoyable caregiving environment. The right candidate will bring consistent positive energy and a genuine heart for elder care. Daily Responsibilities Assist with morning wake-up, personal hygiene, and getting dressed Remove and clean PureWick external catheter system each morning Assist with bathing (3 times per week) Escort resident to and from the dining room using her walker Assist with breakfast and ensure proper nutrition and hydration Administer medications as scheduled Provide toileting assistance as needed Perform light housekeeping and laundry Maintain a calm, structured, and cheerful morning routine Requirements Prior caregiving experience required; dementia care experience strongly preferred CPR/First Aid certification preferred Reliable, punctual, and consistent — this role requires someone the family can depend on every day Warm, upbeat, and patient demeanor — a positive attitude is essential Clear spoken English; must be able to communicate effectively with the resident and family Must have own reliable transportation Ability to safely assist with mobility and transfers Comfortable with personal care including bathing, toileting, and catheter maintenance Trustworthy and respectful of the resident's dignity and privacy What We're Looking For More than a checklist of tasks, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with the elderly and brings joy into the home.
