As thePer DiemPersonal Care Assistant, you will provide support,assistancewith personal hygiene and household functions for an individual to be able to remain in their own home.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provides orassistsclients with activities of daily living including: bathing in bed,tubor shower care of hair including shampoo,combingand brushing care of teeth and mouth including denture care nail care, filing only skin care includingpericareand applying lotion transfer of patient from bed to chair and to wheelchair transfer of patients on and off bedpan,commodeand toilet assistclient in preparing for bed position patient in bed as directed assistswith ambulation including with cane,walkerand crutches personal care dressing of client medication reminder

Live-in and Sleep Over's:

secures clients home for the night and provides reassurance by being present at the client's home during the nighttime hours (Washington and Oregon does not provide this service) Assistswith household tasks directly essential to client's personal care Accompanies client to medical appointments or shopping if necessary and performing other essential errands Measures and records oral, rectal, and auxiliary temperatures, pulse and respiration, and blood pressure when ordered within the training limitations of the aide Prepares meals asrequiredbased upon client's preferred diet may need to feed client ifrequired Providescleanand safe environment within the home including safe use of equipment such as side rails, oxygen, wheelchairs, Hoyer lifts, etc.

Required Qualifications:

Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

Current CPR certification or ability to complete within90 daysof hire 6+ months of home care experience Ability to work flexible hours asrequiredto meet identified clients' needs Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
