Direct Care Staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals in a home care setting
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration
• Implement behavior management systems to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals under your care

Qualifications:

• Prefer Previous experience in direct support or related field is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Ability to lift and assist with mobility needs
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation This role as a Direct Care Worker requires providing direct support to individuals in a home care setting.

You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, implementing behavior management systems, collaborating with professionals, maintaining a clean environment, and providing transportation when needed. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, compassion, patience, and the ability to lift are important qualifications for this role.
