PCA/Caregiver

B&C Care system Inc. services Veterans (VA) , Medicaid patients, and self pay clients. We are committed to hiring excellent care givers who can meet the needs of our patients. B&C Care System Inc. is seeking an attentive and trustworthy Male/ Female Personal Care Assistant that can work a fixed schedule. This position requires someone who is able to travel between clients when needed. As a PCA you may be asked to see more than one client a day. B&C Care System Inc. interested applicants should be patient, communicative, reliable, have strong interpersonal skills, willing to learn, and be committed to making your client feel safe and comfortable.

Qualifications:

TB test (annually) Ability to pass a drug test Ability to pass NC Health Care Personnel Registry check Ability to pass Criminal background check Strong Interpersonal skills Communicative/ Able to inform office staff of any issues Ability to lift more than 30 lbs (if required for client) Reliable Flexible Work weekends (when needed) Ability to travel between clients Ability to travel between cities Comfortable working in a home base setting

Duties:

Provide services in accordance with the patients plan of care. Provide for the personal needs and comfort of the patient Offer compassionate care/companionship to the patient Limited help with prescribed exercises Assistance with ADL and IADL Assist with ambulation ( transferring client ) Assist with self-medications (reminding client to take their medication) Performs Light household duties Meal preparation Why B& C Care System Inc.: Weekly pay Flexible hours (when requested)
