Job Description

Overview:
Direct Care Staff are responsible for the daily care, supervision, and safety of adolescent males in a structured group home setting. They play a key role in supporting youth through behavior management, daily routines, and therapeutic interventions under the guidance of clinical leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Prior experience working with youth, mental health, or residential settings preferred. Must be 21 years or older. Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage youth in daily routines, activities, and life skills development. Implement behavioral interventions and support de-escalation during crisis situations. Assist with hygiene, meals, recreational activities, and transportation. Document daily logs, incident reports, and client progress. Maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment. Communicate regularly with the treatment team regarding client behavior and needs. Participate in all required trainings, including CPR/First Aid and crisis intervention.
Preferred Skills:
Patience, consistency, and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Dependable and able to follow structure and protocols. Willingness to be an active role model and mentor to youth.
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour
