Full Job Description Job Summary Pay:
From $14.00 per hour Job description: Looking for Candidates to start by mid
March PURPOSE :
Provide consumer training and assistance in daily living skills.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
In accordance with individual program plans, provide training or assistance to consumers in such area as daily living skills and rehabilitation activities. 2. Assist residents in meal planning, shopping and preparation in accordance with menus and specified diets. 3.
Assist residents:
a. With the self administration of medication, documenting all required medication information b. With maintaining a safe and sanitary facility c. In times of minor illness or injury d. With grooming and hygiene 4. Provide necessary supervision during times of natural disasters or emergencies. 5. Transport consumers as required. 6. Maintain current CPR and First Aid cards. 7. Complete KFH required training and attends 90% of all scheduled home meetings. 8. Other duties as assigned.
NOTE:
All Paraprofessional staff will be supervised by QP. Supervision will be at a minimum of 1 time monthly unless necessary. The House Manager/AP will supervise day to day activities regarding consumer care with the Paraprofessional
QUALIFICATIONS
: High School Graduation or G.E.D. equivalent required. : At least one year related experience in field of developmental disabilities preferred. Valid Driver's License required and an acceptable driving record within company guidelines. Must be able to demonstrate competency on required new employee orientation.
