Job Description

Position Summary Casa Bloom LLC is seeking compassionate, reliable, and trauma-informed Direct Care Staff to support children and adolescents residing in our Level III therapeutic group home. Direct Care Staff play a vital role in maintaining a safe, structured, and nurturing environment while helping youth develop life skills, emotional regulation, and healthy coping strategies. This position requires patience, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to supporting youth with behavioral and emotional challenges. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide daily supervision, support, and guidance to residents Implement behavioral interventions, coping strategies, and skill-building activities as outlined in each resident's Person-Centered Plan (PCP). Maintain a safe, clean, and structured living environment, always ensuring resident safety. Assist residents with daily living skills, including hygiene, meal preparation, chores, and routines. Document resident behaviors, progress, incidents, and interventions in compliance with Medicaid, MCO, and state standards. Support crisis intervention and de-escalation using approved, trauma-informed techniques. Transport residents to appointments, school, and community activities as needed. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions. Model appropriate communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills. Administer medications (after completing required training) and follow all medication management protocols. Uphold confidentiality, resident rights, and ethical standards always. Follow all Casa Bloom LLC policies, safety procedures, and state regulations. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. At least 21 years of age, per NC group home regulations. Valid North Carolina driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and reference checks. Ability to complete required trainings, including: CPR/First Aid NCI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) or equivalent Medication Administration Trauma-Informed Care

required trainings Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and supportive during crisis situations. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with youth in residential, behavioral health, or child welfare settings. Coursework or training in psychology, social work, human services, or related fields. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
