Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. In this vital role, you will help enhance the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care in a respectful, safe, and nurturing environment. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition; report changes promptly to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning patient areas and laundry Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to safely move residents with mobility challenges Follow care plans designed by healthcare teams to deliver consistent, personalized support for residents with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, home health care, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as Alzheimer's or dementia care are a plus Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities, autism, or developmental challenges Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes accurately Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting residents with mobility needs Excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude toward residents' well-being Join us in providing heartfelt care that promotes independence, dignity, and comfort.
