Caregiver/Personal Assistant Rhonda Van Voorhies Leland, NC Job Details Full-time $18 - $19 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification Wheelchair mobility assistance First Aid Certification Patient interaction Bathing assistance Meal assistance First aid and CPR Full Job Description Job Summary Seeking a compassionate, reliable and dedicated Caregiver to provide care for adult male with Spina Bifida in home located in Leland, NC. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities and healthcare monitoring. Responsibilities Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient's health by observing for any changes in condition Prepare meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preference Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning to promote a hygienic environment Follow safety protocols, including first aid procedures and emergency response plans Collaborate with family members on care plans Qualifications Prior experience working in home health settings preferred Experience working with individuals with disabilities highly desirable Certification in CPR and First Aid required Strong communication skills and patience when working with individuals with disabilities Assist with transfers to wheelchairs. No lifting required. Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 with some flexibility of hours. $19 an hour
