Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Help residents with mobility assistance including transferring, positioning, and heavy lifting
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Administer first aid when necessary
- Support individuals with dementia care needs
- Ensure resident rights are respected at all times
Skills:
- Experience or knowledge in nursing practices is advantageous
- Proficient in cleaning and maintaining a hygienic living space
- Ability to work with individuals with autism and dementia
- Competent in assisting with activities of daily living and meal preparation
- Knowledge of first aid procedures
- Familiarity with assisted living principles and resident rights
