Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Care Companion to provide non-medical support and companionship to clients in their homes. This role focuses on enhancing quality of life, promoting independence, and offering emotional support in a safe, respectful environment. Key Responsibilities Provide companionship and meaningful conversation Assist with light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, dishes) Help with meal preparation and grocery shopping Provide reminders for medications (no administration) Accompany clients to appointments or errands Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous caregiving or companion care experience a plus (not required) Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to pass background check Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs as needed Ability to assist clients with mobility (non-medical) Why Join Us Flexible scheduling Supportive team environment Training provided Meaningful work making a difference every day
