This energetic and dedicated position involves providing personalized care, assisting with daily activities, and fostering independence for clients with diverse needs. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help create a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients' health status, recording vital signs and reporting any changes to Nurse Supervisor Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding as necessary Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Implement personalized care plans designed by healthcare teams, ensuring each client's unique needs are met with compassion and professionalism Requirements Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's), memory care, and hospice care practices Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information Ability to perform CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Strong skills in assisting with ADLs, medication management, patient monitoring, and manual handling techniques Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, intellectual disabilities, or geriatrics is a plus Excellent communication skills combined with a caring attitude to build trusting relationships with clients and their families Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most!
