Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care principles, as well as adherence to HIPAA regulations and resident rights. Duties Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort. Monitor patients' health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Engage clients in social activities and companionship to enhance their quality of life. Document care provided and any observations regarding the client's condition or needs. Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy and dignity at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or direct support roles is preferred. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Certification in CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to perform patient monitoring tasks effectively. Must be clean, organized, and attentive to detail in all aspects of caregiving.
