1099 Independent Contractor We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy caregivers to assist with care for our 95-year-old grandmother in a private home environment. We are currently building a small pool of reliable caregivers for flexible and rotating coverage based on family scheduling needs. This role is best suited for someone looking for supplemental income, flexible hours, or occasional PRN caregiving work. Hours may range from a few hours to full-day coverage depending on family needs and availability. Our grandmother is a dialysis patient and requires companionship, supervision, assistance with meals, and general support around the home. Responsibilities Provide companionship and supervision Assist with meal preparation and basic cooking Light housekeeping and cleaning Help maintain a safe and calm environment Monitor general well-being and communicate concerns to family Assist while family members are away or running errands Comfortable around dogs and willing to supervise pets when needed Remain attentive and engaged during shifts Preferred Qualifications Prior caregiving or elder-care experience preferred CNA, Home Health Aide, PCA, nursing student, or healthcare-related background preferred CPR/First Aid certification preferred Comfortable working with elderly individuals Reliable transportation Dependable and punctual Comfortable in a private family home setting Requirements Must pass a background check Must provide references Must be respectful, patient, and trustworthy Non-smoker preferred Additional Information Flexible/on-call scheduling Hours are not guaranteed and may vary weekly Start date is still being determined as we finalize scheduling needs Trial period may apply before long-term placement Please reply with: Resume or work history Relevant experience/certifications Availability Contact information References if available
